Hiawatha Public Library is pleased to offer Iowa Library Adventure Pass which transforms your valid library card into free passes to special attractions. It’s your ticket to adventure! The passes allow entrance for two (2) adults and two (2) children and additional tickets can be purchased at the venue.

Participating attractions include:

Residents of Hiawatha, Robins, and rural Linn County, 18 years of age and older, with a valid library card in good standing may reserve passes here.

Cardholder must present a valid photo ID and printed pass (email on phone not accepted) before admission into the venue is allowed.

One pass per venue may be reserved once every 365 days.

Please check individual venues to learn of social distancing or mask requirements. Passes cannot be used for any other special member events.

Please cancel your reservation if you cannot use the pass at the reserved time. To cancel a reservation, call Hiawatha Public Library at 319-393-1414.

Check open dates of any venue before you reserve your pass.

    • Adventure Pass is an online program that allows library patrons to use their library cards to visit area attractions, museums, and parks for free.

    • Go to the Adventure Pass page. You will then be able to browse the passes and which dates the pass is available. Once you find the place and the date of your choice, follow the on screen prompts to reserve the pass. You will need to use your library card number. Print the confirmation page of your reservation and present that at the doors along with a valid photo ID to gain access to the venue.

    • Yes! The pass is valid for 2 adults and 2 children. Any other attendees will need to pay regular admission price at the door.

    • You can reserve one pass per venue every 365 days.

    • You can contact the library up to one day BEFORE your reserved date, and we can cancel it for you. You are then able to make a reservation for a later date.

      *Cardholders should verify a venue is open before reserving a pass

    • You must print the confirmation page of your reservation and present that plus a valid photo ID to gain entrance to the venue you reserved. The name on the pass must match the name on the ID when the cardholder presents the pass for admission to the venue.

    • No. You must have the printed pass to enter. If you do not have a printer, you can print your pass at the library for 15 cents per page.

    • You must be 18 years of age or older to reserve a pass. Anyone under 18 is not eligible to reserve a pass.

    • Contact the library immediately. We will be able to print the pass for you, or email you a copy of the pass for you to print.

    • It is free to you. Hiawatha Public Library purchases the passes and pays to participate in the program.

    • Adventure Pass organizers are constantly working to grow the program. More locations may become available in the future.
