The potential for creativity in the Sci-Fi and Fantasy genres is nearly limitless, which is exactly why it makes a great focus for discussing rules of creation: when to employ them and when to bend them. The challenge a writer usually faces in this genre is broadening the reader’s perception of reality while still grounding them so they can thoroughly enjoy the ride.
