Forrest Kramer Room 103.1Join us as we chat with Sana Javeri Kadri and Asha Loupy about The Diaspora Spice Co. Cookbook.
Join us for a unique culinary experience that brings together storytelling, culture, and hands-on creativity! In this special program, we’ll connect via live stream with the authors of The Diaspora Spice Co. Cookbook for an engaging conversation about the inspiration behind the book, the stories of the farmers, and the vibrant world of South Asian spices.
Diaspora Spice Co. works with 150 regenerative farms across India and Sri Lanka, partnering with elders, Indigenous communities, and innovative farming families who are leading the way in sustainable, climate-resilient agriculture. Their cookbook blends these powerful stories with beautiful photography and 85 approachable, flavor-packed recipes.
After the talk, you’ll have the chance to create your own custom spice blend inspired by the book! We’ll provide a variety of spices for mixing, and you’ll leave with a personalized blend to use at home, perfect for adding a little extra flavor (and story) to your cooking.
Come ready to learn, taste, and connect. This is a program you won’t want to miss!
Join us for a chance to win a copy of The Diaspora Spice Co. Cookbook! The giveaway link will be in the Resources area under the broadcast screen during the live event.
