The Raven Tower is Ann Leckie's 2019 fantasy novel, her first in the genre, which reimagines Shakespeare's Hamlet in a world where gods and humans interact through language and sacrifice

The story follows Mawat, the true heir to a kingdom protected by the Raven god, as he tries to reclaim his throne from his usurping uncle, aided by his loyal retainer Eolo, while uncovering dark secrets about the god's power and history. The narrative is uniquely told from the perspective of a stone god, the Strength and Patience of the Hill, who observes the events unfolding in the city of Vastai.
