Our recent Librarians’ Pet Exhibit was such a hit, we’re ready for the next chapter, and this time, we want to feature YOUR pets!

We’re inviting our library patrons and community members to take part in a brand-new exhibit celebrating the animals that make your life brighter. From playful pups and curious cats to birds, bunnies, reptiles, fish, and beyond, every pet has a story, and we’d love to share yours.

📸 Submit a photo of your pet along with their name and a short description (fun facts, personality, favorite activities, etc.) via email to library@hiawatha-iowa.com or drop it off at the Circulation Desk. We will also accept drawings, paintings, sculptures, etc


📅 Submission Deadline: May 23rd


Your pets will be featured in our upcoming community pet exhibit for everyone to enjoy!

Let’s fill the library with amazing pets of every kind and the stories that make them special!
