The chemistry between two characters can make—or completely break- a reader’s emotional investment. Whether romantic, platonic, familial, antagonistic, or somewhere in between.

Intimacy on the page is what makes relationships feel real, urgent, and unforgettable.

Great stories are built on connection. The space between two characters, the tension, tenderness, rivalry, loyalty, and longing, is where readers truly invest. When intimacy feels authentic, the page comes alive. When it doesn’t, the story falters.

So how do we write intimacy with intention?
What does it look like across romantic, platonic, familial, or adversarial relationships?
How do we balance subtlety and intensity? And when is it powerful to disrupt the “rules”?

In this engaging, supportive workshop, we’ll dig into the craft of character chemistry through thoughtful discussion, examples, and collaborative feedback. Together, we’ll explore vulnerability, subtext, pacing, emotional stakes, and the moments that leave readers breathless.

📍 Gather with us every other week!

Bring your curiosity and courage, and let’s elevate the way your characters connect on the page.
